The story starts with Ucademy, our sister company – an innovative tutoring company which has been running successfully for many years. At Ucademy, students are taught HOW to learn - they are made aware of the best, evidence-based study techniques and this forms the backbone of our curriculum. Ucademy, has supported an audience of 10,000+ for GCSE and Alevel across the world, been featured in The Telegraph, and have helped students achieve places in competitive courses such as Medicine or at Oxford.

 

RootEd was developed because we believe that ALL students should be provided with the skills that lead to academic success. We want to work with schools that support this mission. There is a huge disparity between the culture around academics between the top schools in the country and everyone else. We believe that we can combat this disparity by providing all students with the skills they need to take their learning into their own hands, to become better students, achieve better grades and ultimately open the door to more opportunities. 

 

With this goal in mind, we have developed a series of workshops to deliver to exam years (Y10-13) over the course of the year that will set them up for success. The workshops are centred around study skills, exam preparation and a soft skills workshop which will be tailored to your student population and what they will benefit most from. We want to work with schools that are equally passionate about providing their students with more opportunities and are encouraging a culture of high attainment.
